Waiting List
If you are interested in one of our properties, you are encouraged to apply now. All rents are based on 30% of adjusted monthly income. All buildings are wheelchair accessible.
Please note that the waiting list for the type of apartment you may be intersted in will vary. For example, an efficiency has a short waiting list, while a one-bedroom apartments in elderly/disabled buildings are sometimes lengthy. However, Barre Housing Authority allows incoming tenants to lease an efficiency unit, and then request a transfer to a one-bedroom apartment when one becomes available. If this happens, tenants must reside in the efficiency a minimum of 6 months before a request for transfer can be made.
